LEASEPLAN PUBLISHES ITS ANNUAL REPORT 2014 AND ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT DR HERTA VON STIEGEL TO SUPERVISORY BOARD
Thursday, April 2, 2015 — LeasePlan Corporation N.V., the world’s leading fleet management and driver mobility company, today announces that it has published its Annual Report 2014. View the full Annual Report 2014 in attachment. The company today also announces the appointment of Dr Herta von Stiegel as a member of its Supervisory Board. She will be a member of the Audit Committee.
Dr Herta von Stiegel has over 25 years’ experience in international management, finance and board level positions in highly regulated financial services businesses. She has specific expertise in banking, clean energy and cross-border risk management in Europe, North America, emerging and frontier markets. During her 17 years in the banking sector, she held senior positions at Citibank, JP Morgan and AIG in London and New York. Until 2005, she was Managing Director at AIG Financial Products. She is the founder and former chairperson of the Prince’s Trust Women’s Leadership Group, the UK’s leading youth charity. She currently serves on several corporate and non-profit boards, including the first independent chairperson of CHAPS Clearing Company Ltd., UK, and the Kenya Chapter of Women Corporate Directors. Furthermore she is the founder and executive chairperson of Ariya Capital Group Ltd., a financial services and project development firm focusing on clean energy and infrastructure investments in Africa. Dr Herta von Stiegel is based in Nairobi, Kenya, and is a citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States.
The Supervisory Board of LeasePlan Corporation N.V. now consists of Frank Witter (Chairman), Michael Klaus (Deputy Chairman), Albrecht Möhle, Christian Schlögell, Herta von Stiegel and Ada van der Veer-Vergeer.
